Even being blown up French bombers from 1940 were the ugliest things with wings! It is a legacy they'll never live down

Frankly being French I'm generally proud of my country (you also are for your own  ) but when I see the bomber built in the 30's ...I'm ashamed

Do you know where I can find the URL for the ugly plane site ?

Talk about an over abundance of US AC..geez.

I fly LW so I'd like to see a DO-17, He-111 and 109E-4.

but better yet, get some more IJA, VVS and RAF AC....Hurricane comes to mind...

Straffo,

I'm sure the D.520 would be a great early-war plane.

Thing is we need a Rolling Plane Set, or the vast majority of those AC are worthless..except scenarios.

I really am terrified there never will be one in AH..this "Perk Plane" business seems to be in as a substitute. I worry there's a fear of copying WB too much (err, re-doing it, since it was Pyro and HT who started the RPS over there) and too much of a desire to be different just to be different.

I realize the RPS has been insanely controversial over in WB, but I really loved it (back when I was in WB).  The problem is, to make an RPS work you really need a lot of planes well scattered over the span of the war.

I think the RPS would be a nice complement to the perk system......early in the RPS, perk planes could often be one of the later model planes that started out in small quantities, limited combat, etc...or planes that existed in small quantities, like the C Hog  (I'd like to see the C Hog as an easy-to-get perk plane someday.)

I agree with Torgo on the point of the chog being a fairly easy to get perk plane!!

As far as an RPS...  I still have to find an aircraft in Aces that I wish to stick with.  I hop from aircraft to aircraft and I know it hurts my effectiveness.  I am hoping the F6 will be that ride, but for some reason I doubt it.
Here are my requirements:
Speed, must be able to outrun the majority of the AC in the arena.
Guns, gotta be able to carry enough ammo for 5 kills (lol with my aim mebe no such thing exists) and suitable for A-G attacks
Climb, must be at least average to above average in this department.
Ordnance, must be able to carry 2 500's and or rockets at least.
Turn ability, if its not a respectable turner it has to be able to roll, and have good zoom characteristics..

Holy sht.. that sounds like the CHOG!! omg...
damno....

The rps isn't gonna help me at all in finding a permanent ride unless alot of variants are modelled..

Lets don't! How about we finish the Late-War and Mid-War sets before we meander off down the early war path.

And God forbid that we ever get a RPS. The one thing I hated the most about WB's over the years.

Sorry guys, just my opinon.

Ehehe, dont worry Verm

PYRO will finish the mid-late plane set before switching to early-war stuff. I'm sure. As far as the RPS is concerned, I think it is a good thing. Problem was that the WB's one often sucked.

Anyway, I want my G.55 "Centauro"!

Gatt are you sure the RPS would be a good thing? Your fav Italian AC won't be avaliable after September 3, 1943 the time Italy surrender if it was realistic.

At least with a RPS, the one sortie a month
blokes might actually get to fly the supposed UBER planes.
AT least the historically correct part of complete novices flying them might be satisfied...
and with an early set, might even see a Non-Yank marked P-40 (RNZAF!!)
