another post of the month, cats and laptops

My 10 pound cat walked across the top of my closed laptop did it hurt anything, I know stupid question but please give me an answer ok thanks.

It's probably going to explode. If it doesn't, it's likely irreparably damaged. I would throw it away, and put that cat on a diet.

Check the HD for mouse porn, then look for furrballs in the CD rom tray, other then that it should be ok.

You should be fine. Look at the case, if it's flexible (the back of the screen blends in) run a dxdiag test to see if any "white fire" pops up. If not then you're good.

Your laptop is fine. However your cat has been infected by any viruses on the computer throw his paws. To cure this cut of his feet and use it as a lawn gnome.
