Shopping Websites for joysticks
« on: February 03, 2010, 07:17:00 AM »
Hi Guys,

My Fighterstick has finally clapped out, so time to get a new one. Now my brother is going to be in LA for a couple of days on business, can you suggest a few shopping websites in the states that I can look at so perhaps I can buyand get a stick delievered to his hotel.

Buying a stick in the states saves me approx 30%.

Thanks in advance.

You are probably going to have a really hard time getting anything shipped to a hotel that is paid for by an out of country credit card regardless of where you try to order it from. And I bet Murphy would love to play games with the timing of getting it to a hotel when he's there, assuming it's anything less than about a week.

I wonder if there isn't a brick and mortar location near where he is going that you could have him shop for you?

why not see if your Brother can arrange to have the Stick  delivered to one of the places he has business to do with?

then pick either next day or 2 day delivery?

try
http://www.chproducts.com/retail/usa.html  for a list of Ch Products Re-Sellers in the US, this page has links to all their retail stores

or try www.Provantage.com , they have at most times been the cheapest of anyone........although Newegg sells CH Products and as mentioned usually delivers pretty quick.....

and what type of CH Fighter Stick did you have?  USB or gameport?  Why not just repair it?

hope this helps...........

GunCrasher and TC, thankyou both for the suggestions.

TC, re the repair, the cost to send it to/from Asia is prohibitive, it is easier to just buy a new one.

rgr FTJR, I thought it might be something you yourself could easily repair/replace pots or board what have you, depending on what is broke on it...... figured if you just ordered the replacement part, it would cost you a whole lot less...

hope it all works out for ya ~S~
