You better believe it! 
But I still think the Yak is better, the nose cannon is easier to aim IMO.
While it may be easier to aim, with paired cannons, you don't have to worry about the plane staggering on after surviving a spud. I mean, how are you going to land a plane without wings?
Well sure them are all great but well what about the fw190-A8 with the 30mm gun package. Being in a luftwaffe squad i fly them anyways but WOW one quick pop of the trigger and even a b-17 or p47 goes bye bye.
In my humble opinion the 190 gun packages are great.
The 190 with 30mms is pretty heavy armament, yes. I just don't feel that the trade-off of weapons for major loss in maneuverability is justified.
Never had much luck as far as air to ground goes, but love the big guns in the air. Even killed a set of lancs with the 25H's cannon at 2k. He was pissed that I never entered gun range

I've found that the Hurricane is best for turreting, so that you get the kill when they tower. Unless it is a T-34 or M8. Those are simple to kill.
