Sound Pack

There have been reported problems with the soundpack in my squad. I don't know what they are, but i don't want to download a soundpack that messes up the game. <S>

The sounds packs that are offered on the bbs only improve the game. There are no problems with any of them. Download, follow the instructions and enjoy  :aok

If there is problems with any of the soundspacks u install, it is on your end.  The problems can be if you are using a Onboard sound card and not a pci or pci-e sound card.  The sound packs will work problem fine if you use a dedicated sound card (pci or pci-e).  Other problems can be you have modified the sound packs either by changing the sounds, rename files you are not suppose to, etc...  Sound packs will take more resources to play with so makesure you have the hardware to use them.

I run a combination of 3 different sound packs plus a few Ive made my self. I also run ONBOARD sound. I have a great running game. Its all in what you have and how you configure it. Plus how you configure your operating system. Generalizing that ONBOARD sound bad is not accurate or helpful. I also have run a dedicated sound card and i hated the way it panned the sound with my vision.
