Does anybody wonder why we cant have an armend trasport?

 Am i missing somthing,if so somebody slap me,but why can we not have a troop transport with some defensive armament. A JU-52 or a Tabby for instance?
 I know this topic has been betean to death but.....

Most of the transports that DO have guns are still easy prey, the guns are little better than throwing yer empty beer cans at the incoming fighters.

Wobble is right. But it would be fun to have. I think they would help some but I wouldn't think it would get you into a capped base or anything like that. It would be like haveing the the rear turret of the Lancaster at best. Acutally like the tail gun on a TBM.

Can be done EASY by HTC. Soviets copied the C47 and put a gun on it behind the cockpit area. Small revision and new Soviet variant.

BTW I don't think it a factor of CAN'T have as a factor of time. The HT crew had time to model just so many planes before they released the game. They didn't want to waste a bunch of time on transports on a fighter game. I think we will see them as their time allows for them. Maybe even as a perk.
