Thanks for the Help
« on: February 09, 2010, 08:47:28 AM »
Just wanted to give a shout out to the 4 guys from LW who were in EW last night.  You four skillfully cleared my 12 of that pesky C202 I was having a good fight with.  Then, you all left the arena.   :salute

ImADot, I remember having a faboulous couple fights with you a while ago in EW. Next time in in EW I'll look you up, could definetly do with having my backside handed to me again. It's a pity there arent a few more numbers in EW, with the quality of players in there at times it has the makings of a fantastic arena.

<S> Sir, and just chill out, and remember the fun fights you've had.

Could it be that they are from one of the mega squads, and they were just trying to show you the joys of the horde?

Negative.  They were from three different squads that I'm sure are well-known enough in LW.  I'm not one to get into all the crap-flinging, so won't post player names or squads.  Just thought it funny that the four of them felt the need to jump in without a word and gang the poor guy on my 12.

Since kills and score mean nothing to me, I just flew above them, shaking my head in disbelief.

I spend an hour or two in EW most nights, not for the fights,i just like a lot of the guys. But now and then i find a "good" fight. But most score guys seem to hit the hangers as soon as i get on and a lot of people that will fight are so new there is just no fight in them.Flapsup gave me a couple good fights not to long ago.

Dueling arena ettiquette belongs in the dueling arena, in the MA's, I don't think you have a reasonable expectation of privacy in a dogfight to be honest. Yeah it sucks, but that's why HT provided us with a dueling arena. In the MA, if it's red, it's a target and fair game.

If a guy on your country is on the "SIX" of a Red Dot and FOUR other countrymen jump in and shoot the poor reddot down going from a 1vs1 engagement to a 5 vs 1 engagement after the 1st of the five had already acquired the red dot's 6 position...does not in no way constitue "Dueling Arena Etiquette".....

it does however constitue complete lameness and dweebry of the 4 chumps who jumped on to make a congaline ......

You won't be able to convince anyone who can only get a kill on someone being ganged.

Some are all about getting kills, and others are all about the fight. And them two things alone will keep this debate going for ages.

You can call it whatever but you shouldn't count on people staying out of a fight in the MA.
