actually no, its just a "sayin" that we have down here, at least all the people I know do not talk like that,


LOL I had to look at the headlines the next morning to see if we won LOL

..............Lets just say we partied hard........ :D :D :D  OMG I have NEVER seen a mardi gras celebration crazier than that celebration we had on Bourbon for the saints win,

we were up on a balcony on bourbon and we watched the game projected up on a wall, talk about fun............. :rock

I went and stood on the balcony and listened,        it was really something to hear all the bars up and down the street roar every time we scored

talk about memories, oh my gosh I cried when we won, it was amazing to see so many people cry for happiness  when we won.

it was one of the loudest moments "during the game", after the game it was even crazier.

during the game, most people were crammed into bars, the street was fairly thin, but the sound coming from those bars was amazing just purely amazing, I would recommend to anyone on here within reasonable driving distance to come down for mardi gras, this year is going to be unbelievable with the saints win.

lets just say, there is really no walking involved if you get in the middle of the street, LOL you just float along with the crowd  :D

from MY eyes, people all over the country that have never been to mardi gras think we are just a city full of drunks and mardi gras is even worse but we are really not, its an amazing celebration that should definitely be on everyones bucket list. you will definitely bring home lasting memories from it. like I said again, this last statement is just my opinion so don't flame me for it.

Mardi Gras= Lots of drunk, half-nekked, no inhibition people trying to look "normal" in da French Quarter.
<----------- Lived in N.O. most of my life and been to many Mardi Gras days, some I'm still not so sure I was actually there. Had the hangover but not so clear memory..... :D   :cheers:

Watch the vid on that page...pretty sweet.

I loved how porter's INT caused more ruckus than the game ending...but I guess it's all in "the moment".

The INT sealed the game for the Saints. With only a few minutes left there wasn't much chance the Colts could come back 2 TDs.

We'd just finished saying that N.O. was gonna be in trouble if they didn't force a t.o. Then it happened. I claim divine intervention. Whatever. That play still made me a very wealthy man. At least on paper.

possum, I'm envious man...been in cheese country for 10 years and I really wanted to be back down there for this...only thing that could have made the victory sweeter would have been in the dome on home turf. I'm guessing it was like Mardi Gras in the quarter...probably all over town as well.
