Wasting money on a Saitek.
Masher, I do understand that people have had problems with certain Saitek products... but others have had problems with CH, Logitech, MS, and what not as well.
I personally used to have an X45 that only failed because I lubed it with WD40 (and even that took two years of doing to cause problems) and the X52 I currently use still works like brand new after over two years of moderate-to-hard use, and I still have no problems whatsoever with that stick.
Perhaps quality wise they are in fact inferior to other brands, but really that's a judgment call on the user's part. Now it's possible you've had bad experiences with Saitek in the past, but I have a feeling that you've never even seen an X65 in person (let alone touched or used one) so your comments about this are completely out of line and not even relative to the topic of this thread in the first place!
Regardless of how you feel about that particular brand, I was just pointing out an example of a pressure operated stick.
