Release of the WWI planes is expected before the end of the year although it will not be in the next version release.
sounds like a date to me.Any date before,Jan 1'st 2010.
 :salute

lol, they stated  "before the end of the year". They did not specify 'this' year, it could be any year, just at the end of it... you could be waiting a long time :).

Yeah, that's right, you just got your rear handed to you by a fuggly puppet!

They never gave a release date for the WWI arena.  All they stated was that they hope to get it out by the New Year, that's hardly a release date set in stone.

Well that's why I said any kind of date, never said they gave a set date there.

"Is expected" is hardly the same as "will be released" when it comes to development releases.

I have to admit i'm looking forward to flying those ww1 planes.  I really curious about how correct the modeling will be. Theymay be a handful to fly at first.

Yeah I was really surprised when they gave any kind of date on having it ready by, HTC usually doesn't do that, for exactly this reason.

Though, with the WW1 arena also being used as a de facto test server,  I think we'll actually see it released during our life time.

Most of the new releases, IIRC, were on Tues-Wed to allow time for quick patches.

Hm-mm.... Castor Oil... Now that you mentioned it, I've read somewhere, that inhaling the Castor Oil fumes during flight had the same effect it is known to have if digested. Wouldn't it add some realistic atmosphere to get a sip before playing? Not to mention the boost in personal hygiene, cartoon pilots being forced to daily change their undies and take a shower after flight. Of course true HC  :joystick: geeks wouldn't care...

If you can smell the castor oil, you're not drunk enough to fly an aeroplane.
