We get what we have collectively asked for.
Sometimes the media goes too far & it pisses me off when I see it, like reporting on something the government needs to keep secret for national defense.
Like when, I think it was the New York Times, published an article years ago about the Greenbrier Hotel and how our government had a top secret bunker under it for all the top people in the government to go to in case of an attack on the U.S to keep our country running afterward, but after that article was published it had to basically be abandoned because it would now be targeted and no longer safe. Now what was the need to publish something like that, we didn't need to know about it, and by telling us about it they rendered it useless.
