Some cool stuff.  Mustang lovers will cry.  Some of the photos of the banzai attack are a little gruesome, tho.

Great shots there, thanks for posting the link. Gives a much better feeling for what it was like for the pilots and others stationed there after the island was secured. Seems a lot of birds and crew were lost landing there.

In my spare time I do WW2 reenacting.  That album was a great resource for research on camp life and equipment.

Use the slide show function and let it run. Do not "delete the captions" on the pics either. It shows pics of both Japanese and American dead where they fell.
