Hey everyone, that is the fourth plane that has been released you know what that means?

2 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since the planes are all done, I hope we get this update soon or I'm going to have to start flying the VAL to calm my urges.

Just because the graphics models are done doesn't mean the FM's and damage models are done too.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

World War I Air News: The Bristol F.2B

Work on the next version of Aces High that contains the WWI expansion is moving along with all the major components and art just about completed.
There is still a good amount of detail work and debugging to finish but the end is in sight.

will not be long now  :airplane:
"When one considers just what they should say to a new pilot who is logging in Aces High, the mind becomes confused in the complex maze of info it is necessary for the new player to know. All of it is important; most of it vital; and all of it just too much for one brain to absorb in 1-2 lessons" TC

I was unsure up until now, but you can clearly see that the pilots head is in different positions between the photos

I wonder if they are going to sync the pilot's head turning with the players FE view.

You can also see that the pilot is looking around in the Camel.
I wonder if that will work with TrackIR or just keypress views.

I'd bet that the head turns are controlled by the roll axis. Take a look at the last picture. Ailerons are showing he's about to roll to the right and his head is pointed to the right.

Edit: In fact look at the last Sopwith Camel picture, same thing.

Edit2: Also since you can't see control surface movement in the film viewer(I think?), we know these are in-game shots. So he has to be taking these pictures from the external view where he can't be changing his internal head position.

well,  :headscratch:

i don't like the modells, the fokker looks damn ugly. I got Rise of Flight, which got a big lack of online gaming(they still working on a MMO arena) but the Graphics and the FM are outstanding!!!!!!

So i hope after all the lost years with the combat tour, now the ongoing ww1 stuff HTC will go back and concentrate on WW2, thats what most ppl are paying for

Will the Spad and Nieuport fighters be available? the SPAD S.VII was a great fighter from this era. Maybe even the American version of the Airco DH 4a. Yes, I know it was built by the British but the American version had 2  .303 marlin machine guns and 2 rear mounted lewis guns and I believe the engine was different that the British version had. Seems like Manfred von Richthofen had a slightly eccentric brother?

"That's what Brian Boitano'd do."
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB
