Vox problem
« on: February 17, 2010, 09:58:30 PM »
I have a strange problem.
I am running windows XP home edition.
I installed a sound card and it works fine in all other applications.
When I run AH and try to use the Vox while in a gv it will give me the blue screen of death and restart the system.
Any ideas?

Could be a device driver issue.

Try downloading the updated drivers for your sound card.

Another thing would be to ensure only 1 sound card is installed.  If the previous sound card is onboard, simply disable it in the BIOS setup menu.

Nope.
I used driver cleaner to remove the old realtek drivers.
Reinstalled the new diamond drivers, changed the cmos and removed the old entries in the startup menu.
Still getting random blue screens,I'm thinking about removing the card if it's going to cause this much trouble.
