Small plane crashes into building in Austin, Texas
AUSTIN, Texas – Fire department officials in Austin, Texas, say one person is unaccounted for following the crash of a small place into an building that houses offices of the Internal Revenue Service.

Assistant Austin Fire Chief Harry Evans says two people have also been taken to a hospital. Their conditions were not immediately known.

A law enforcement official says the crash does not initially appear to be the result of a crime or terrorism. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the person was not authorized to publicly discuss the incident.

Thick black and gray smoke was billowing out of the second and third stories of the building Thursday as fire crews using ladder trucks and hoses battled the fire.

Dozens of windows were blown out of the hulking black building and vehicles traveling on a nearby highway paused to look.
