another text bar toggle request

If it's not 2 weekers demanding you join their mission or giving everyone a real-time AAR, it's experten congratulating others of their ilk and praising each other's comic wit ad nauseum. 

An on/off text bar toggle setting mapped to the keyboard would be much appreciated.

What compels you so strongly to look?

As a work around, put it somewhere unobtrusive, like a bottom corner of the screen, and ignore it.

There's a .squelch to get rid of kill messages.  I don't remember what channel it is ATM.

Otherwise, maybe MMO isn't the place to be.

I find this to be an interesting request......... But it's more complicated than that.

Skuzzy comes on and uses text to tell us about the arena closing or whatnot, same as CM's do with important AH info.  It would need to be coded so as we're actually just turning off "Country Channel"

Just tried that but to no avail.  No radios set to country but green text still pops up.  I logged off and tried again - same thing.

It is in the bottom of my screen, though it would be nice to be able to open or close it together with the clipboard.
Ever heard the term "Too Much Information"?  Sometimes it is just that.  I like to know what's going on in the game but not everything.

Problem is, it is always obstrusive. No matter where you put it, it either obstructs your cockpit gauges or your view in general. While I do see problems with toggling the textbuffer, I would appreciate it if it's size could be adjusted. Right now the font size is ridicoulusly big, and with it the whole buffer.
