AvA Monday is back!!
« on: February 19, 2010, 11:42:48 AM »
This time, each side has two objectives to take and two to defend.

These objectives will be more difficult to take than in the main arenas and will require a strong effort.

Bring your friends and bring your squad, we start at 10pm est and play will be scored at midnight.

I hope a "strong effort" is not to much for the 3 peeps that will show! Unless it has changed I never saw the AVA produce enough interest to warrant a "STRONG" effort!

Just saying!

The AvsA is an awesome arena to participate in, especially if you like to have the allied against the axis plane types setup.......

what gets me is how many post have come up about P-51s fighting P-51s and such in the Main arenas, or how flying in the LWA arenas people get upset because they are always fighting a horde........or let me change that...the horde dosen't want to fight and if any opposition of significant size pops p to defend, the horde moves to another unpopulated area of the map......

but the biggest thing about why people do not fly in the AvsA, at least if one was to really read between the lines is....... the people doing the most complaining are the same ones who need to fly with superior numbers or have to fly the Late War Monsters......because they are not confident to play the game with anything less ( read that as to scared to play without a Tempest or Bf109k4, or Fw190D9, or P51D etc...)

the ones that seriously like to play in an arena of axis planes against allied planes, and do not have to rely on superior 10 to 1 odds , or rely on Late War Monster planes are the ones you see in the AvsA most frequently....... outside of the few who come in and switch sides to try and win the SCORE race.... as if that means anything , heck HTC/Aces high does not even post the AvsA scores on the homepage.....( Thank God  :aok ) if they did then the Main Arena mentality would be more present in the AvsA.....

so I guess what I am saying is the AH Commercial should advertise the AvsA arena......because in all seriousness.... it is what Coach ( AH Commercial voice ) was refering to when he ask:

Are You Up For The Challenge? ******** <---bullet holes  :devil

I can list many really good players who frequent the AvsA and have frequented the AvsA ( and old name CT ) for many years........ but if you are not up for the challenge, then go ahead and stay in the Main Arenas where you can be safe with your superior numbers and Late War monster plane types....

I really don't think you did the the AVA a service with that statement.

is this what you mean, Shifty?

if it is then ok.......... have fun, I'll stay away from the AvsA.....you seem to always be subjectively negative directly to me, most times I make a comment in regards to anything AvsA

hope it all works out for what you want the AvsA to be

The AVA is all yours.

The AVA is all yours.

I must have missed that announcement, sir........

I thought it belonged to HTC and was here for the entire AH Community.....

( edit: in times past when I might have posted a negative comment toward someone, I try to quickly realize it, and fire off an apology to them when I realize I went to far...... noone is perfect )( seems this has went to PM or least got PM reply, guess according to what I am told "I will never learn", "I insult the entire AH Community", "I am not productive with my comments")

my original post was meant to "Challenge AH Players, to come to the AvsA, and do something different" although I did not directly post it like that......

YMMV
