I find now good database of gun.
 http://www.csd.uwo.ca/~pettypi/elevon/gustin_military/fgun.html
please check it.

and....This saids
" Type 99 model 2 cannon, which in its final version fired a bigger shell than the Hispano at a higher rate of fire, and weighed less. This was a vast improvement, but it came too late to save the IJN. The last IJN fighters of the war, such as the N1K2-J Shiden-KAI, had four Type 99 model 2 cannon. "

Citabria,
I've never seen anything list more than 140 rounds per gun on the Tiffie.

Yeh give the N1K more ammo.

God knows the sprayers need it.

StSanta,
If it carried more ammo in reality, then I want it.

If it carried less ammo in reality, then I want it.

See how it works?

Its not a matter of what if better for me, I want each aircraft to be as accurate as possible (yes, this includes all of the field mods for the German aircraft).

karnak: I agree completely.

Think I made it clear in my posts, but now I state it explicitly.

Was just trying to be facetious

It's pending.  I just need to make a good calculation on it to feel right about it.  There's conflicting information out there on this and I dismissed the higher figure due to a rough calculation on the physical dimensions of the ammunition bins.

As a footnote, the 99 model 2 did not fire a bigger shell than the model 1.  They both used the same projectiles and fuzes, but the model 2 used a bigger cartridge case.

Bullet for MK2 is #longer# than MK1 29.5mm.
Belt length is no change.

We have several kinds of descriptions concerning the amount of ammunition of N1K2. The source is a manual of N1K2 by Japanese Naval Air Squadron during the war. N1K2 is written that 900 of 20mm bullets were installed in those descriptions one of which has been introduced by Terrazi. It should be clear evidence , so I wonder why Pyro is hesitating at the correction.

I want you to show grounds why you leave N1K2.
