Name this Plane (82)

Ok thought I would throw my hat into the ring, in the Name this Plane (NTP) contest

So name this one. I would rate it as "moderate" in difficulty.

FYI you won't figure it out from the pic name   And Widewing isn't eligible, cause he's too damn good

PS: You probably won't find this pic in any of the major books either, true I got it from a book, but its one I bet most of you don't own.

Nope not a Betty. That would have been my first guess too, given the fuselage and tail structure.

Peggy from the 762nd Kokutai? The Betty, sally and hellen don't have a trap door for the tail wheel I think.

Maybe a Ki-67 Hiryu ("Flying Dragon" or something like that) is it the same as Peggy?

Yup is a Ki67 Hiryu "Peggy"

A definite MUST for Aces High.

The picture is from Ed Maloney's Planes of Fame compilation of TAIC reports from WWII.

If it wouldn't have had the torp loaded, it would have been much harder to identify, since the Japanese only had a few large twin engine types used for torpedo attacks.

Someone can confirm is the peggy is the only one japaneese twin of this size to have a trap door for the rear door?

May be easy to ID them.
