My flight desk. This table was totally unsuitable for flying when I got it. I am currently modifying it to make it better.

Isn't that the sim system cockpit? What don't you like about it? I just ordered the FX version of that pit for my son and I.

First off it was way to low. When I got it the shelves were below knee level. In the picture you can see that I had to use blocks and a box to add hieght to the monitor stand. What you can't see is that I also have 1.5 inch blocks under the shelves to raise them up. The seat is too narrow for wide loads, such as myself. I am 5'11" and about 230 lbs. Which is probably about average size. Not too skinny but not obese either.

I will post the updates I have done later this week. I have it all torn apart right now, trying to make it better.

I am starting on this one this weekend. I will be making both sides the same width as the right side on this picture. For more pictures follow this link and scroll down through it. http://www.simracingworld.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=33506 This guy did a jam up job on this small setup.

HOLY COW I wonder who makes that thing SPECIFICALLY for AH???? That is a cool thing to save tons of time and effort. The price is right in the range of what it would take to build your own using a Bodnar board as well. Not bad for a ready made piece.

Called the owner to see if they still make them and if they could put my name on one. Thought it was pretty cool.
