froger < ----- ups c47 in hanger on a dweeb hoard capped field and leaves it there just to pad my score on lawn darts  :neener:

I like this idea so well I'm tempted to set up a shade account that does nothing but this. That way, when someone asks about my superlative resultant record, I can tell 'em that's it's proof positive of my superior acm skills.

That's how you're supposed to react. You pass.

While the OP hasn't thought his request through very well, there is one instance where I would like to see proxy kills be disabled - and that is to a field gunner.

This is solely because it makes it really really hard to figure out whether you are actually hitting the attacking aircraft or not - and besides, the logic of "out flying" the pilot you get the proxy kill on doesn't apply to a field gunner.

It's governed by the arena setup variable "ManuverKillRange" which is set to 6000ft by default.

The string variable name just shows that it's the same thing as the maneuver kills in WB, just with the range setting set further than it was in WB.  As I asked in my previous post, I wonder how many would squeak about proxies if the name was changed to Maneuver Kills instead?
