The google earth shots of the boneyard are very out of date. I happen to be living within 100 yards of part of the boneyard right now. In the RV camp at Davis - Monthan AFB. There happens to be a bunch of B52's right across the fence right now. There is even one of them that still has the stinger gun position in the rear. That's the first one of those I have seen here in visiting this part of the base in over 5 years. If I can find my camera I might be able to take some shots of the various parts of the boneyard but someone will have to host the pics.
The boneyard is huge and has storage for future flying use, parts retrieval and scrapping areas. There is also a civilian salvage yard across the street from the base that sells parts. Lots of partial fuselages, cockpits, engines, props and wing sections. Sad to see some of those old birds being ripped apart like that. I've noticed that A-10 wings seem to be being salvaged quite a bit. Lots of fuselages with no wings anymore in the back area.
If there are any folks from the forum here in Tucson, I could get them on base to look at the parts you can't see from the outside. A visitor pass is easy and free.
