Can you ignore people in the forum?

Can you place people on an ignore list that constantly only seem to post to build their status? The ones that make posts in a thread from someone asking a question that have no relevance and really explain nothing. Just asking.

the ones who steal other peoples threads to get there status up, the ones who take credit for other peoples research, the leaches of the forum.
