I know this sounds a little wierd compared to others choices but I like listening to Muddy Waters' album Hard Again while flying. Muddy and Johnny Winter togeather have a special feel good sound.

Well considering I'm from Texas and a country boy, Country Music you'll be Surprised how it helps you concentrate and really gear in to the game.!

Im from Texas as well and country music (especially the crap they call Texas country) is crap.

I tried listening to my favorite album, and the greatest of all time while flying AH once, -John Denver's  Poem, Prayers and Promises-  I did horrible, I think it relaxed me too much.  I'd get all contemplative and lose focus while watching the scenery, then I'd die.

I hear the rumble of my four Wright-Cyclone engines, the scream of many 500lbs. bombs dropping out the bomb bay to their targets, the aluminum shredding as enemy interceptors come roaring in, the intense sputter of many .50 calibres firing back, and the comedy & comradery of a great bunch of bomber nerds and escort fighters. :)
