Tanks wont die

I dropped 3,000 ords worth of 500 pound bombs on a tiger on a b26 at 3k right on top of him he wouldn't blow up.Then some poor guy kept dropping 250kg bombs on me like 10 times just 100 ft out between 300ft from me I didn't blow the bombs weren't no where close all he got was my track and then he dropped a bomb at low alt and half his wing blew off.For some reason tanks wont die and a Brewster did a short burst on me and turreted my wirb weird.Why is all this odd stuff happening?
