I heard RAF used pink Spitfires for reconnaissance (Camouflage for hiding in the clouds) but why violet/lila Mossie?

Lysander to direct artillery and land spies or sabatours behind enemy lines.  I don't know if they ever actually did that, but it would be cool in the game.

Staga,
Recon Spits were light blue, not pink.

Sorry to pop your "Barbiefire" fantasies.

(Edit) Jack55,
Yes, Lysanders did drop off and pick up "agents".

I'd scan a pic in of a pink Spit myself but I'm logged on with my different ISP!  Anyway, check this pink recon Spitfire - new colour for 2000.  The pic was taken at where I work, not by me I hasten to add.

Mosquito would be a great addition to AH IMO.  Just like the JU88, it did just about everything. Unlike the JU88 it was good at all of them.

OK, so I was wrong.

Recon Spits aren't my specialty (the chapter name I remember is "Spitfires in blue".

Any Mosquito would be cool.  I always thought the FB Mk. VI was neato.

Ok, I am gonna be the party pooper here

Why get a Mosquito, when you can have a plane almost as fast as a Mosquito, plus it has a 20mm tail stinger?

oh, its a close-support version... nevermind.

btw the P1Y ginga is specified as a Yokosuka aeroplane, even though it was powered by 2 Nakajima engines.
