maybe cause i'm a graphic designer but i never like the use of the lens flair. like the sepia tone look on the last one
I have to agree. I do a bit of computer graphics as a hobby and its easy to recognize effects that can get you great results fast but are overused because they are automated and single command prompted. While some can say its the result that counts, the amount of work you implement in a certain piece or artwork counts for a large part of the merit as well.
I'm not saying I wasn't happy to do my first "lens flare" or "edge glow" Rhah, but you got to give it more work and sweat to hook the general audience.
I'm being sincere and completely open, and I'm used to doing harsh critics like that because it only helped others just as much as it helped me when I was the one criticized.
Hope you don't take it wrong and that you continue to improve. Don't give up.
