Swedish pilot flew commercial jets for 13 years (without a license)

41 year old Swede got busted in Schiphol, just before departure of an Correndon Airlines Boeing 707 flight to Ankara, on the grounds that he doesn't have a commercial license.

He has flown for several airlines, all across the world, racked up 10 000 hours... but only has a regular flight permit.. that had expired long time ago...And he had managed to fly commercial with a commercial permit he had made himself..

Upon arrest he appeared to be relieved that the lie was over

So you are good if the "Dr." treating you and your kids isn't really a doctor at all but someone who had advanced first aid classes and just called themselves a Doctor before performing medical procedures. That would only be the problem of the medical building that let him / her have an office.

Told a 86 year old USAF retired Major about this today. His exact works were " Huh? I say they give him a dam license!"

I don't think they should give him a license, but he should be pardoned and told to go get his license, and then allowed to continue in his previous job.
