Why do they have to be so small? seriously, other forums avatars are no where near this small. Anyways, Im also having trouble changing mine. It's the exact same size as the one I have now, but it won't change. Im not even getting an error message, it jut wont change......  :cry

Well they really just don't matter, maybe that's why they are small. 

Saying it just doesn't work is a little vague.  What happens when you click upload?

Has to be exact. I remember that is has to be 80X80 i think.. I had lots of problems with my earlier avs. I started a thread begging for a good avatar to be made. I found the pics and boogaloo made me one..  :salute

It's all about the page load time.  Not everyone has a high-speed internet connection, and many browse the forum from their smartphones.  It's the message (in most cases) that's important - not the cutsie little picture under your name.

They are easy to make with a GIF Animator,make sure picture is saved as GIF ,and the file size is not to big and picture size is correct.

Google avatar sizer and you should find a program that will size any avatar you need :salute

I've never been a member of any board that allows bigger than like 120x120... anything bigger starts to look terrible.
I wish we could have 500x100 sig banners, though.

Try hitting the refresh button in your browser after you've uploaded your new avatar.
