What a hoot!

March 5th FSO, II/JG27 assaigned to JU88 bomb runs.  My first time ever in a buff, now I see why you guys enjoy flying em, really never "got" it before.

The FSO's are the #1 reason I love this game, and it just got better.

Flying buffs with my squad is always a treat. Lots of time on auto pilot. Time to grab more coffee, tea, cookies and milk. In a way less stress than a fighter. Lots of time to chat and cut it up. Buffs in FSO can be a lot of fun, but a very different kind of fun than fighters. :)

what is real fun is flying in at 30-33k.  You will hear the, Oh I didn't know B-17 could fly 40K.  It is just a fact that most of the people who fly in here deem 25k an exceptional altitude.  It makes it a lot more of a challenge for the fighters.  Most don't take time to build their speed and get position on the buffs for their runs.  They kind of get up as quick as possible and then try coming in on the buffs six, or low six.  Makes life pretty easy for the buff gunners.  But it is the Bees Knees for the buffs

Yeah I guess that sounds fun enough. In fighters we like to change course when one of our guys says he's AFK to grab a beer.
