Having tested the Mosquito Mk VI, and the Spitfire Mk VIII, there is either a global bug causing all aircraft to be faster than they should be or a global bug causing air speed to be reported as higher than it is.

I reached 367mph on WEP at 200ft in the Mosquito, up from 338mph in 2.17.  I reached 362mph at 200ft in the Spitfire Mk VIII before auguring it intentionally, although it was still accelerating.  It also had a top speed at that altitude of 338mph in 2.17.

When I was flying the first night the WWI fighters were out, their speeds did seem a mite bit high to me, but I am not an expert on them so I shrugged it off.

Addendum:  Forgot to include that E6B was used for the tests, though the dials on the aircraft matched the E6B speeds.

As per this thread:

http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,285229.0.html

I had a full-fuel & -ammo Fw 190 A-8 at 390 on the deck according to the E6B, offline.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

Yup, it's all across the board. On the deck, all plane planes are to fast by about 30 mph. La-7 doing 404 now at sea level.
