What you need to though is ask on 200 if anyone wants to meet you in the middle for 1v1s or smaller fights. I had some great 1v1s with MtnMan last night, I would take 2 fights like that(2 fights I lost too) over a day of furballing in those dogpiles of retards any day.

Half the good sticks from the MA are picking/ganging the crap out of people the other half are getting ganged every sortie because their friendlys are timid in a game....

you want 1 V 1's? go to the AVA. the arden map is up, which is huge and <edit>The WWI <edit> planes are enabled at all bases including Vbases. now you and a friend can go off quietly and beat each other up without too much trouble. if someone shows up to interupt, just politely ask them to stay out of the fight.

Only time you can get a 1 vs 1 in the AvA is when only 2 players are on.  Then you will have to find them and some how stop them from running away, but technically, that is a 1 vs 1

I recognized many of the names in the arena I was in last night.

I also took note of the fact that I was, in about an hour of play time, never once HO'd and if I was in a 1v1 clearly separated from the furball, left alone.

I agree.  I have had it both ways in the WWI arenas and both are awesome. Further the WWI planes are available in the DA so folks can duel until they puke!  I plan on it.  You should too.  Expecting monogamy in a furball, is like bringing donuts to a Weight Watchers meeting.  Just silly.

There are no Ho-n-Go planes like Ghost said.

There are no planes that can "run" away from a fight.

One cannot come in at alt and "run down" any other plane without breaking his own.

I think it's great.

We've gotten a whole other arena (4 actually) to screw around in, 4 more a/c to beat the crap out of each other with, all for the same low low price of $14.95/month.

I've had more fun in the last 2 nights for $00.50/night than I think I've ever had in my life for that price.  Best $1.00 I've spent, yet.

Oldman I totaly agree. I played in the AvA for a few hours last night and it was really good fun. Thanks to all the AvA staff for sorting this out.

+10 that right there is the answer to a great 1v1 2v2 so on, if you get to close to the furrball between bases its like dogpile on the rabbit, but if you call out on 200 to meet people in the middle its great fun and most will go there alone to, i had 5 fights in a row in the middle and that was the most fun i have had, no worries about getting bounced.

You had to been smoking rocks for that hour.....The HO and Go defiantely does work in this arena problem is it normally turns into a collide. The WW1 arena I was in was filled with the same Lame stuff the WW2 MA has expect more often and harder to get out of. My opinion, I know alot of people like it right now but unless Im doing 1v1s in the middle with someone Im sticking with the MA

I was in whatever the "second" arena is called.  First was full.

Wasnt smoking any rocks, but my plane was certainly smoking quite a bit.
