While I agree that I love a 1 vs 1, Fair fights are for suckers.

What's worse is when you've got 3-4 enemy on you and the half-dozen friendlies in range to assist are all busy ganging one enemy of their own. As bad as the DA furball area can be, I'll at LEAST say the guys in there are willing to help you out if you're in trouble.

You need a couple of wingmen to fly with in a squad. When your buddy is a highlighted white icon its easy to help each other out. You can't expect organisation from chaotic situations unless you put in the effort to make friends. Sure someone might dive in and clear your six one time, but they might choose to help their wingman first. Oh, and another thing, dont fly into 4 enemy cons alone if you dont intend to fight them alone. And remember, in this arena, 2.0k is not close. Someone fighting 2.0k away is in another sector as far as you are concerned in this era of flying.

Well this was not a cry and i think think it was not worded like one,battel cry and crying are diffrent,for all of you that said crying.And i can see most of the people that posted here against it are all about kills and not skills,guess that's going to be the way it is.


And BTW i don't care about when its just me and 2 or 3 unfriendlys and they fight me,but more then once last night i have 4 on me and 3 of my green guys are doing nothing,but the 3 or 4 cons attack just me,when they could (if wanted) got in 3 diffrent good one on ones.


And i understand many of you that posted here only get kills by gang hording,with no real flying skill,so i can see why you are against staying out of others fights.When you get skills(for them) let me know and we can 1 on 1.

I think the reverse side of your argument is that those who rant and rave for 1 on 1 fights ina  furball environment lack the 'skills' to furball succesfully, and it annoys them?

I (many of us) have the 'skills', when do you want to die?   Tell me where and when, and I'm there.

That does not mean that I should be scornfull of furballing, it's bloody good clean fun.

I think problem solved and we might have found a good arrangement.Tonight i met a red guy in the middle of the map,and we started to engage i noticed he had buddy's around but they stayed out just circling over head.I won the battel and the next guy cam down,same thing happend and next guy came down,i was lucky enough to win that and asked to be left home for gas,one guy chased but the rest let me go and i made it home.A big Salute   to the them guys that respected a good fight,i had a blast.

I was online when you were flying in the center of the map doing 1v1s.  A general call came out over country channel saying go to the center area for 1v1 and not to interfere.  To the best of my knowledge, it was honored by all sides.  Though, the furballs were an entirely different matter and affair.

Yah, I think I'm gonna take that approach for the time being...folks arent remotely evening up sides, and the 8:1, dont take a risk, ignore the harder targets-furball-lake mentality is prevalent (But it's STILL quite fun )

What makes you think I flew into four cons alone? I singled out one so I wasn't joining the horde on the one enemy. The others were late arrivals who decided to join my 1v1 rather than help out THEIR friend getting ganged.

It's true, he's always so good at telling people his victories were due to random sunspot activity or variations in Earth's magnetic field, and that it really wasn't the case that he simply beat you like a drum.  I've never met anyone who is as talented as Batfink at sending you plummeting to earth in flames with a smile on your face.

they must have been within visual range when yous tarted the fight, either that or you were having some very long one on ones? Dunno, i just think if we embrace the chaotic madnesss that a furball is, it has to be fun. I'v purposely flown into a sea of red alone and come out alive with a bag of kills. I've also died many times just crashing into to a tree for no reason without cons around. I've been helped by teammates, i've cherry picked off team mates six. Expect nothing and appreciate the help if it happens. For me personally there is nothing to be gained from expecting some kind of honour in the middle of a furball. At the corret venue, like the DA, or the quiet center of the map sure, but in range of the furball? Anything goes. *shurg*

I'd like to see some sort 4 on 4/ 5 on 5 tourneys in one of the lesser-used arenas...that could be a blast--would be far more representative of the era. I could do that all day and never go into the MA agin

oops I completely missed that post you made,sorry and yes my in game name is Sunka I'm usually on like 7 hours from now,but I'm happy to go DA or w/e anytime someone wants to and I'm home,love to learn any new tricks anyone has.
And yes it is a game but some i fight (very few) are awesome about how they fly,MtnMan for one and my trainer,i watch that guy fly anything and fly it really well.
