Again about Spit MkV and C.202

Following the other thread I have tested our Spitfire MkV. I presume that AH's Spitfire is a FV model. Tested with 100% fuel, 4x7,7mm and 2x20mm, default climb speed, WEP:
Time to 20,000ft: 5'50"
Max speed at 20,000ft: about 385mph TAS.

Well, I looked at Boscombe data and found that the May 1941 tests on a F VB type, Merlin 45, fully loaded, same armament, show:
Time to 20,000ft: 6'24"
Max speed at 20,000ft: 371mph TAS.

Another source (Stewart Wilson's "Spitfire" - Sovereign Series) shows for a F V model:
Time to 20,000ft: 7'24"
Max speed at 20,000ft: 371mph

Then I tested our C.202, same conditions:
Time to 20,000ft: 7'20"
Max speed at 18,000ft: about 355mph TAS
Official data say:
Time to 20,000ft: 6'26" and 5'55" (second time is probably wrong).
Max speed at 20,000ft: about 370-373mph TAS

So do we have the 1943 Spitfire LF VB with cropped supercharger impellers? Do we have a faulty C.202? Someone enlighten me, plz.

We had PORK!  

Visually it's a VB, but it has 120rpg for the cannon, so it's actually a VC. It still needs the 2 blocked off cannon stubs outside the installed cannon barrels though.

At least Spit Mk.V is too fast..
I've been looking few websites to find many sources for Mk.V speeds.
I found Va, Vb and Vc figures, none of them exceeded over 604 km/h in any web page..
speed varied around 590-604 km/h. (around 370-372mph about)
So it is 15mph faster than supposed to.

but for C.202 i have no idea at all.

BTW 604 km/h is 375 mph.

Most websites quote the same figures over and over, just like many book authors.

Prototype MM545
Time to 6 min 13 sec to 19,685, C 4 min 40 sec
best speed 372.2 mph at 19,360, 372.0 mph at 16,405ft

MM9486
Time to 19,685ft 6 min 26 sec, to 16,405 ft 4 min 57 sec
best speed 367 mph at 19,685ft, 363 mph at 16,405ft

Tech spec on series IV-VII
Time to 19,685ft 5 min 55 sec, to 16,405ft 4 min 40 sec
best speed 373 mph at 18,370, 370 mph at 16,405ft

Macchi M.C.200, 870hp 14 cyl radial, open cockpit bird, not a thin slim bird.
time to 16,400ft 5 min 52 sec
best speed 312 at 14,750

I did just take those mph figures out of my poor memory, didn't bother to convert those.

Bah.. on my post about Spit V he said its instrument error, but on Juzz's post he says thanks and is fixing something else than instruments?

we'll have one. Perhaps HTC will fix the rocket-Spitfire MkV. The C.202 will be modeled the same way, like a 109E, so we'll be able to whine again and again and again ...
