If you want the best, this is what you want. True 5.1 surround sound in a headset.

I have a pair of these:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001FY7LBQ/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&s=electronics

Longer cord than most others...long flexible mic boom...excellent sound quality on both speakers and mic...comfortable...good durability...and quiet externally...adjustable speaker volume control and mic on/off switch on the cord.

For the cost you could get 5 pairs and save a $100...that way you would have spares when you break a set after getting rammed for the tenth time in an hour...and extra money to keep your liquor cabinet stocked.

This is what I have:

It has a usb interface, true 5.1 surround, looks like it was made for my track clip pro, and the sound is absolutely amazing!

It looks like this is discontinued, but it appears that the non-usb version (plugs directly into the sound ports on the computer) runs about $80 or so.

And yes I know about how USB sound devices eat up resources and all of that, but I have not had a single problem with mine.

Yes, it will. I'm not sure how you could deduce it wouldn't fit by looking at a picture.

I have a Track IR with the Proclip, not that I ever use it. I'm too accustomed to hat switches. I have in the past had the Proclip on the Psykoaudio headset when I was experimenting it.

I love my Sennheiser pc350. This is the second Sennheiser set I have owned (gave PC150 to my 13 year old after 6 years of use) and I love this one. MSRP is $230 but you can find it for as low as $126.70 at http://www.provantage.com/sennheiser-communications-pc350~7SENN06F.htm

Saitek pro flight headset. Good for long hours and the soundis very good.
Have had mine for a about 6 months or so now. The foam around
the ears is soft so they wear long.
