But you can't shoot the guns or drop bombs out of the A2A one can you?
Not to put MSFS down, but this is why I love AH (and really any well done combat flight sim) over and above non-combat ones.
These planes were designed as killing machines and it is in heat combat that the artistry of their engineering and design really come alive. Characteristics like the 190's roll rate, the Spit's turn rate, the 109 series' outstanding climb, the easy-to-use American "Ma Deuce" guns have to be experienced in a combat situation to really be appreciated.
And not to forget the bombers... the propensity of the B-24 to catch fire, the absolutely bristling armament of the B17 etc... you don't appreciate these things unless somebody's trying to gun you down.
