After running updates without trouble for over a year, suddenly now, my PC locks-up every time... Won't reboot, task manager can't shut it down, NOTHING! Have to kill the machine with the external power button...Ahrrrrg!

hope you dont have the messed up nvidia drivers.  my puter got messed up after i run that update.

When does it happen?  When you press "Online"?  When you press "OK" to login?  Do you get the arena list?  I need specifics.

If it happens when you press online, then it is usually a firewall issue.

OK it did it today again with the update. I will check the firewall again
My firewall usually asks me before it blocks anything I'm downloading.
