Why can't we get a MkXIV that has both options, 2 20mm and 4 .303s or 2 20mm and 2 .50s?
Our Spitfire MkIX has those options.
The Spitfire MkXII would hardly address the inadequacies that the Spitfire is suffering in AH right now. The MkXII also has the hideous clipped wings.
Don't turn the Spitfire MkXIV into a P-51D wannabe. The P-51 is UGLY, I'd rather not have my Spitfire redone along the aesthetic lines of an ugly airplane.
If you want a bubble canopy and clipped wings, fly the P-51D. It has both, you'll love it.
