Army Times, yea I read it....honestly with the Army every line unit is different so its almost better they dont learn too much in Basic....just come to the line in good shape and a good shot
Rangers are a highly funded, more disciplined Infantry unit...they are the the so called BEST of the Infantry. SF does alot of this counter insurgency training and gorillasic [guerrila] tactics, making them probably our best weapon in the Wars going on. Alot of Rangers I met are good at being a soldier, but when it came to being smart about how to treat people, they werent at the top of that list.


Honestly they are both a different type of Special Operations :salute

Always remember this: An officer is only as good as his NCO's. Officers do the planning but the NCO's make sure it is executed. That's my advice.
