Its not a Panzer IV.

The chassis is called Geschuztwagen IVb. Notice it has only 3 two road wheel suspension sets instead of the Panzer IVs 4. It was also diffrent in many other ways.

Chassis was modified PzIV. Turret was specially made for those prototypes (8 built?) but that self-propelled 105mm howitzer was dumped 'cause StuG's were already in production.

I'm not sure if that that 105mm howitzer in that first pic was removable but this one here is thought howitzer was not usable but chassis itself could be used for recover another panzers or as a ammunition-carrier.
btw this one has 4 sets of road wheels and 4 runner wheels.
