Submarines and Sunderlands

How about U-boats and Sunderlands to hunt them? We could have surfaced U-boats (easier than figuring out how to have them under the water) with torpedoes to knock out the CVs and other ships. Sunderlands would drop depth charges AKA 250lb bombs.

Yeah, sea planes have been discussed about a lot before, especially the Sunderland and Catalina.  I'm all for any new edition to AH!

Who would like to try to survive in a surfaced U-Boot?

Maybe if only periscope is visible... from 100 yards

 LOL...

Give me a flying boat ok..yes Please...

If we get subs they must be able to dive and without a long knight period being on the surface would be a short lived thing..

for both subs and the sunderland we then need a map at least 4-5x the size of the current map in the MA

Great idea!
I really see the challenge to hunt a fleet in a sub.

They have only ridiculous 25 knots and I tremendous 6 knots. WOW!

I will drive the CV on the shores!

A sub would be the perfect weapon for people, who think chess is a sport.

WE NEED SUBS!YEAH!
