Just be more aggressive. When I come in onto someone from above and it's reasonable safe to burn E, I set a pace in my head depending on their plane and keep try to keep a nice rythym on my passes, not with the intent of getting a perfect shot(though they generally come about) but with the purpose of driving my target into the ground. So far this method of visualization has worked best for me when I actually find myself with an advantage.

Taking an enemy on the battlefield is like a hawk taking a bird. Even though it enters into the midst of a thousand of them, it gives no attention to any bird than the one it first marked.

Couple of thoughts. Remember flat turn beats a split S. Plus it keeps you higher. I almost never follow someone into a split S.

If he does a split S he has to not only reverse but gain back the lost alt to get you. If someone uses the split S I will flat turn into it usually this is about when he goes vert to reverse and Im waiting there with my guns. If He has lots of energy I will use a spiril climb so as he is turning back he has to climb much higher to get a snap shot. Usually it ends in a Stall for the other guy if he pushes the split S reversal.

I also think in terms of energy at that point and not angles as much.
