120 hz LCD refresh problem

I bought a Viewsonic fuhzion monitor and have tried everything to get AH to run with a 120 refresh rate .   It seems capped to 64 no matter what i try .   Anyone have any suggestions or have people ran into this before ? thx

Do you have the INF file loaded for the monitor?  Did you check to see what the refresh rate is set to for Windows?  This could also be a limitation of the video card itself.

Yes on the INF   , refresh rate is 120hz in windows .      The video card list's it as a mode .  I tried at 1280 X1024 to and its stuck at 64 FPS  . If i set the  refresh at 60 hz it caps at 60 fps .   It has me kinda frustrated...... I've tried both Viewsonic's  Inf and as a plug and play .   I've tried 3 different video card drivers and nothing .  AH is the only game i have on here or I would try some others out .   

If it's any help It lists 120hz in the  DXdiag report .    Thanks for any ideas on the matter <S>

FIXED!!!

You can delete this or lock it if you want .

I fixed it by creating a custom resolution in the nvidia control panel .  I had to change the timing from auto to manual .....thats what did the trick.
