the assassins fly them once in a while. we use them for high alt bomber interceptions. great plane. faster than a pony at alt and has WAY bigger guns

I fly it sometimes, had an 8 kill sortie in it yesterday.  Of course, I also got killed 3 times in exchange for 2 deaths on my other sorties.

I really think the Ta-152 is a crappy plane in the MA.  It definately is a decent plane overall, but when you have to pay 30 points to fly something that you KNOW you will be dead-stick landing because you'll lose the radiator, it takes a little fun out of it.

How true  :D I learned the hard way about the gun package  :D.

I'm a knit and we formed a massive B-17 raid (there were 9 of us with a 10th person falling behind about 10k behind us) against the HQ with the white building as target (shrugs as to what it does  :D) but then 1 262 and 2 152s come and crash our party eventually bringing us all down, that 30MM is leathal! and the Ta-152 can go really high, i brought it to 50k offline! And it's loaded to the hilt with fuel.

I shot down a B-26 that sortie that came in screaming on my tail, it almost got me out of disbelief  :D.

I've never flown it in MA but the few encounters I've had ended up 4:1 in my favour.

I shot them down in n1k, 190-a8, spit and b17 (twice)

One loss was after an extremely long fight where I chased a TA with n1k up to 38k at which time I stoped gaining on him. (sic) Then the TA turned tables and I was forced to extend vertically.. We scissored then vertically and ended up in a HO shot which took us both down.

So no, doesn't really impress me.

He could choose to fight you or not..He chose to. Its not a super plane but it can dominate most of the ac in the game pretty handily. And it has an excellent gun package.
I think its a great example of a perk plane and priced about right.  I typically lose them to losing the wings in a bounce. When your going 430 level and wing over to bounce you can gain terminal velocity pretty quick

S!

Yeah it rips the ends of those long spindly wings off pretty quick.  But the good news is that it will still fly and land with them gone.  I was able to do that when I last flew one.

They have a lousy climb rate at low alt, but with some altitude advantage they can definitely make a P-51 unhappy.

I fly it and have probably gotten 4 kills or so in one this tour with about that many deaths due to dead sticking.  I don't have a boatload of perkies to waste on it but I fly it all the same.

The thing is amazing over 20k and has a nice quick climb up to that altitude.  Its funny how P-51s tend to run away when they see that rocket come screaming in on them.  I took it up to 38k in the MA the other night and saw a Bishy 262 streak by me about 6k lower than me in search of the same Rookie bombers I was looking for.

I took it to the deck killed 2 spits but I augered before the last one hit the earth Urchin got the kill. Damn tree.

I took it to the deck again to chase a 109  I got good hits but again augered before 109 went ded. Thats it this tour.

Erlkonig my squaddie last tour had  a ton of 152 kills.

When JV44 were nits we would (AG and I) would fly with Glasses and would Kick arse flying it (I just rode ag and glasses coat tails).

I rarely fly it now because we are always in mindinao and most fights end up at the tree tops. I always lose to trees.

152 is a great plane well worth 30 perks.

This tour I only really enjoy the 190f8.

I chased down and kilt erlkonig in his 152 with my a-8. He ran to ack and attacked my 6 when I refused his play. We ended up scissoring and he lost..

152 guys should stick above 30k and enjoy the peace and quiet there =)

Well the Ta-152 can be pretty amazing at low level if you do it right.

Last tour
Erlkonig has 46 kills and has been killed 7 times in the Ta 152H.

I've flown with Erl and have seen him on the deck in a 152 many times.

There's no way to know hes e state fuel state damage condition etc.

Your 1 experience is no way an indication of the capability of a 152.

It has good qualities at a varity of alts but 20k it shines.
