Our Charger's console is similar to this one, except the control panel is made of square, back-lit buttons that control lights/siren/computer power/etc. where the empty space is on the center console. Our DVR system takes up the top half portion where they have the buttons pictured in the above photo.
My only gripe is that the shifter is kinda awkward, it comes straight out of the dashboard next to the wheel, and turns 90* almost the same as a normal shifter. Takes a minute to get used to it.
I feel very snug when I sit in it, I just prefer the space that a Crown Vic has (Or seems to have over the Charger). They won't let me have one that doesn't have a cage
