gun sound problem solved
« on: March 27, 2010, 05:32:09 AM »
I substituted m2 sound effect (got from a sound pack) with another sound effect
then in sound settings m2 slider changes took effect too (before i had to change it every sortie
or put an audio file with less audio volume). The differences seems to be in length only but before i work
with audacity application on that file. Old file from sound pack is about 17k, new one is about 100k.

All sounds have to be between 8bit and 16bit, 11khz-22khz and have to be in mono.  For gun sounds, the file length ranges from .05ms to .300ms approx.(depends on gun).  Most engine sound length should be 5-8 secs.  Startup engine sounds are approx. 7-8.5 secs (again, depends on plane).
