While gunning a cv I noticed a formation of A20's coming toward us. I was perplexed cause the A20 in the game doesn't have formations. Then someone pointed out to me that they are Bostons which do have formations. Problem is their icon labeled them as A20 G's. In researching I found out that the Boston III shipped to Britain were DB-7B's.(made by Douglas) Later in the Lend-Lease Act more were shipped but these aircraft were actually refitted A-20Cs known as the Boston IIIA The A-20G had Hispano cannons and two .50 in M2 Browning machine guns, and later made with more machine guns. Many A-20Gs were delivered to the Soviet Union. US A-20Gs were used on low-level sorties in the New Guinea theatre. So the Bostons need to be either DB-7B or A-20C. If A-20C then it should be Boston IIIA and have a torpedo in the mix since it was made with a torpedo capability.Source: Wikipedia
When they get closer it will list it as a Boston.
No it doesn't.Geez, only been flying since before AH started guys. Think what you guys said and then re-read what I posted. Yes, I know it says A20 before it gets closer like all other planes. Then it changed to A20-G. Not Boston. And like I said, since it was a formation of them it had to be Bostons and A20G is the wrong designation for a Boston. So, again, Hitech, it has to be corrected.

While the A-20 might have been designed to be able to carry a torpedo, it wasn't done operationally. ack-ack
