Paypal For Game Subscription Payment
« on: March 30, 2010, 03:43:08 PM »
Hello...

Well, this isn't really a game feature idea, but a feature to the application itself.

I still am suspicious of this game (my [old] anti-virus thinks it's a keylogger), and the last thing I'd do with it is put in a credit card number. Especially since it's doesn't give you any extra info in the game itself. I still want to be able to play online (it SHOULD be free) though, and Paypal payment would allow me to pay for it.

I don't get how anyone could oppose (except for HTC staff (extra payments)) this, but go ahead and say what you like.

If it was free how would they make their money?

You can send in money orders. People have been paying by CC for years, I'm sure if there was a problem, this many people wouldn't be here still.

Anti-virus false triggers occur all the time.  In over 10 years no one has had a credit/debit card number compromised, and no one has ever gotten a virus from our product or service.

You trust Paypal?  They have had thier credit/debit card information compromised in the past.

Been at this for a few years now and have had no problems with credit card compromise.  HTC does a good job keeping it safe.

HTC robbed me!

of hours upon hours of my life, and I loved it all!

 :aok

Like the other guys who have been here much longer than me or you, HTC has a clean history and a trustworthy reputation.
LOOK EVERYBODY!  I GOT MY NAME IN LIGHTS!

Paypal has recently been dropped cold from the money wire services to overseas systems. There is probably a good reason behind that.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

I haven't used Paypal since the mid to late nineties but don't they still offer a debit card?  That would work for payments to HTC.

I use a visa debit card with no overdraw facility for all online payments. I just transfer enough money to do what I want into it before I use it. Pretty safe that way.
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

HTC has had my info for 4+ years now with no problems at all. Never picked up a virus or bug from them. Nothing but smiles and plane crashes for me

I would rather pay by credit card than by any other way (paypal, cash, money order, check, sheep barter, etc).  Any problems I can get my money back from the cc.  I can also cancel it if it gets stolen and I am not liable for any unauthorized charges.  It dont get any safer than that. not that I distrust AH.  there's only 3 places I buy from online, AH, newegg and TD, and I trust all 3 of them  :aok.
