190 D9 Damage Bug
« on: April 05, 2010, 11:32:40 AM »
Hi all,

I collided with a F4U and sustained a forward fuel leak on my 190 D9, however I had black and white smoke trails I checked my damage meter and all it said was forward fuel leak. I then flew a sector on my aft tank with no change in oil pressure or temperature etc.

Once the fuel had all leaked from the forward tank and the white trail finished, the black trail was still present.

Hrm... That's not the only time somebody has mentioned this phantom oil trail without real oil damage. Seems to be a recent bug since the WW1 update.

Someone didn't patch up that gaping 40mm hole in your plane. :)

At first I thought it was a bug with the damage list display, but after flying for so long with out seizing the engine, I think its more of a graphic bug with the oil trail.

That is not a damge bug. It's a graphical bug. The 3D shapes simply did not "disappear" with the rest of the wing.
