Hello fellow rooks and YAY for Titanic Tuesdays return!

Welcome to this week's Titanic Tuesday
Epic Mission for April 6th 2010.

Launch Time approximately 8:00pm Central Daylight Time

Interesting map for tonights Titanic Tuesday looks like our route will
be mostly over water to the target.  I still have not decided on whether
or not we will be attacking the Knights or the Bish tonight at the time
of planning this mission both enemy strats are on the coastline.

I know for planning purposes our route will be South 2 North over the
enemy's Industrial Center.

Air Tasking Orders:

Industrial Center:  11 Aircraft Needed for Columns A - K

Radar Factory: 3 Aircraft loaded with 1000lb ordnance
needed for Left, Center, Right sides of target

   Anti-Aircraft: 3 Aircraft loaded with 1000lb ordnance
needed for Left, Center, Right sides of target

Fuel Refinery: 3 Aircraft loaded with 1000lb ordnance
needed for Left, Center, Right sides of target

Troop Training: 3 Aircraft loaded with 1000lb ordnance
needed for Left, Center, Right sides of target

Ordnance Factory: 3 Aircraft loaded with 1000lb ordnance
needed for Left, Center, Right sides of target

Bombers I would like everyone to attempt to try to fly the
"Javelin Down" formation as depicted here:

and with all the bombers in position With me and Asleep1 leading it should look something like this:

Assets: B-17G 12 500lb GP Ordnance @ 75% Fuel

   B-17G  6 1000lb GP Ordnance @ 75% Fuel

   B-24J 12 500lb GP Ordnance @ 75% Fuel

   B-24J  8 1000lb GP Ordnance @ 75% Fuel

   Lancaster III 14 1000lb GP Ordnance @ 50% Fuel

   Lancaster III 18 500lb GP Ordnance @ 50% Fuel

Escorts:  P-51D
     P-47M
     F4U-1D
     P-38J
     TA-152
     Fw-190-d9
          109K4
     ME-262

Escort ATO as follows:  I would like the escorts to
take up positions  at the bombers 12'o'clock 6'o'clock
        3'o'clock and 9'o'clock positions approximately 3000 to 5000
feet above the lead bombers cruising altitude.  Approximately
1000 to 3000 feet laterally from the bomber group in your
respective positions.  Fighters your hard deck will be 1,000 feet
below the Lead Bombers Cruise Altitude.

I will be checking my email and the forums starting about 7:00 p.m.

If you have the Industrial Center Grid Map I will Be targeting Column "F" and
our XO Asleep1 will be targeting Column "G."

Please pm me if you would like to reserve a target for yourself or your squad.

Bomber VOX on 190
Fighter Escort VOX on 191

Thanks Again and Good Luck with your drops!

We came we saw we annihilated the Knight Strats if there were any spies tracking our mission we sure didn't see what effect they possibly had...

Looking at the Film we upped with 40 Bombers, cruised with 34 bombers, and hit the city with 30 buffs.

We had about 30+ escorts according to the film saw a few regulars come and try to attack us.  I hope these missions are
not only fun for us rooks every Tuesday Night but also for the Knights and Bishops that try to intercept us every week.

Bad news about my disco though...just as I was pickling my first bomb drop on row "F" I was disconnected.

I attempted to gun for my fellow buff drivers when I managed to get back in game.  Every time I was accepted I was
disconnected until I did a complete restart but even then i had to drop my graphics down to the lowest setting.

Seems weird when I'm packing a Windows 7 64 bit OS fueled by 16gigs of ram and Dual HD4870's running in crossfire mode
with a Core I7 2.67 quad-core processor that my computer wouldn't be able to handle the graphics or stay connected.

I also wanted to <S> everyone for joining up and I would post the mission film but it stops
rolling at 1 hour and 57 seconds right before we drop on the Industrial center.

Just out of curiosity, what happened to the 6 bombers?
